Quest Organizers build their Quest by using the “Create a Quest” tool. There are several ways to play and challenges to choose from. For a deleted overview of all the challenges visit our features page.
For this demo we created a Quest for you.
After using the “Create a Quest” form, Quest Organizers will receive a start code that they can either print out or display on the mobile device. Players must scan a start code to begin a quest. Upon entering in their team name, if chosen by the quest organizer, the customized logo will appear on the main page, the timer begins and any challenges that were selected as “Show in app” will download.
Now that the timer has started and players need to answer as many Quest Challenges as they can. Notice you are able to switch between completed and incomplete challenges to help organize your strategy for playing. Any those challenges that the Quest host choose as “Show in app” will appear.
A full list and description of these challenges can be found on our features page.
Quest Organizers have the ability to create Quests that only have challenges that show in the app after scanning the start code, like a traditional scavenger hunt and having all the questions on the paper, or making the quest a bit more fun by having players also scan codes for additional challenges, points and prizes.
A full list and description of these scan-able challenges can be found on our features page.
When the quest is over, players will no longer be able to answer or change their question. Quest organizers have the ability to score the teams in two ways:
Device: If you do not have access to a computer with WiFi, you can take the device and tap 5 times on the words “points and prizes”. This will show the approval screen in which you can tap all the correct answers and collect the teams score.
Online: By logging into your ScanQuest Portal, you will have the ability to see all the answers by team and grade them.
